Tank Repairs

All modifications, alterations and repairs require formal recognition from the Federal Office for Transport (BAV).

The procedure is described in Annexe 5 of the GGUV implementation guidelines.

The Dangerous Goods Inspectorate will be pleased to assist with the implementation of repairs, conversions, modifications, etc. of tanks.

Bulk container repairs

Repair should be effected if bulk container safety or its associated service equipment could have been compromised.
Prior to starting the repair work, the procedure must be discussed with the responsible expert.
