Who can be eduQua certified?

The eduQua certification is aimed at all institutions that are active in the field of continuing and remedial education for adults, including labour market measures (AMM). It concerns educational measures for adults that serve to acquire, renew and expand knowledge, skills and abilities.

What is the scope of the certificate?

The institution is certified with the eduQua label. The label may only be used in advertising and marketing in connection with the institution and not with the programmes.

Is it possible to certify a single course?

eduQua is a certificate for institutions, not for individual programmes or persons.
Each institution is a certification unit. For large institutions, it may make sense to manage individual departments as separate certification units.

What are the focal points of interim audits?

It must be possible to answer the following questions during the interim audits:

  • What important changes have taken place in the institution?
  • Are the eduQua minimum standards still being met?
  • If there are still requirements: Have they been fulfilled?
  • Does the institution continue to actively pursue quality development?

Does the Swiss Safety Center help with the preparation of the dossier?

The Swiss Safety Centre provides all interested parties with information about the certification process. Certification bodies must be able to prove their independence and are therefore not allowed to act as consultants when setting up systems. We strictly adhere to this regulation, which is monitored by the Swiss Accreditation Centre SAS (part of SECO).
The eduQua homepage provides detailed information on the path to the label.

We will of course be happy to provide you with the addresses of suitable advice centres.

Which labels can eduQua be combined with?

The certificate can be combined with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, Q2E and other standards where appropriate.
