Summary
naturemade star
describes the quality label with strict ecological requirements. 100% of the electricity generated must come from certified renewable energies. The certification criteria are based on a well-founded life cycle assessment. It is the strictest quality label in Europe.
naturemade basic
describes the quality label for which the requirements for fulfilment are lower. A power plant whose electricity production receives this label must be almost CO2-neutral in operation. At least 8% of the electricity supplied for certified products must come from naturemade star-certified energy
