Promoting innovation through our innovation fund: Together into the future
The SVTI Group's Innovation Fund is designed to promote visionary ideas with financial support. The following four criteria serve as guidelines for the evaluation of innovation projects and are intended to support strategic decision-making. These criteria range from improving our services in the area of Testing Inspection Certification (TIC) to categorisation in important megatrends and the promotion of synergies and networks.
1. Testing inspection certification (TIC) competence
We focus on increasing added value in the areas of testing, inspection and certification (TIC). Our aim is to offer more efficient TIC solutions, open up new fields of application and thus further increase technical safety and quality. In doing so, we are strengthening our unique selling point in systemic conformity assessment
2. Innovation value
We develop innovative solutions that effectively overcome new challenges and offer a sustainable competitive advantage. Our innovations are tested for marketability, technical feasibility, time-to-value and scalability and are integrated into our long-term innovation culture.
3. Security vs. megatrends
Our innovation strategy integrates megatrends in two ways: On the one hand, we aim to create new forms of security by integrating new technologies. On the other hand, we strive to use our existing expertise to develop agile security solutions that promote trust and acceptance in the new technology itself.
4. Synergies and networks
Our projects promote partnerships and collaborations, open up new markets and create synergies. They offer opportunities to collaborate with universities, promote research and talent development and utilise internal synergies within our Group.
